This is my burger of the month. It's sort of an inside joke with some friends, but essentially this is where I show off something that I really like. It could be something I made, something someone else made, unimportant found objects, or whatever peaks my interest.

This month's burger is an illustration done by yours truely. I can't say there's much of a story behind it. I was walking through the seafood section of my local food market and saw some crabs. They were lined up so orderly and I thought it would be a great exercise in repetition.

The medium is gouache and color pencil. I like experimenting with mixing media because the pencil adds a playful texture to the composition. This is still the begining of my work in illustration as I mostly have practice in "fine arts" like abstract oil painting.
